Highcliffe Country Dancing are a friendly and welcoming club that meet 7.30pm every Thursday (except for August and Christmas) at Highcliffe Community Association. Dances are walked through beforehand and people are willing to give any guidance to anyone looking to get started.

Bournemouth Arts Club aims to foster a love of visual art through exhibitions, workshops and studio visits. Their annual exhibition showcases at least one artwork of each full member. To become a full member, you must be elected by existing senior members. Associate Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the arts.

Scouting is a wonderful opportunity for young people to learn various skills, such as map reading, camp cooking, and first aid, to name a few. There are chances for international experiences and camping trips. There are 8 groups in Christchurch District: Town, Jumpers, Somerford, Mudeford (sea scouts), Highcliffe, Burton, Bransgore, and Hurn (air scouts). There are 6 different age groups (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network) across ages 4-25.

West Country Embroiderers Christchurch are a friendly embroidery group of mixed ability, offering a wonderful opportunity to hone your embroidery skills and meet some new people. They welcome new members and visitors.

ECSSC is a social club with lots of recreational and leisure activities available to its members. The club provides access to 2 football pitches, a cricket pitch, 2 tennis courts, a skittle alley, dart boards and pool tables, all with the aim of encouraging people to bond over a love of sports.

Highcliffe Charity Players are a theatre group that have been performing in the local community for 50 years now. Putting on a mixture of pantomimes and musicals, with much of the proceeds going to charity, it is a great way of entertaining, giving back, and meeting new people.

Girl Guiding is an excellent club for young people, creating a space where they can learn new skills, make friends, and improve their community. There are 4 different age groups covered by Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers, from 4-18, as well as opportunities to become a Young Leader or travel abroad. They meet up regularly to do fun activities and earn badges, normally weekly.

Founded in 1970, Christchurch Life Saving Club teaches lifeguarding and first aid skills, with members 6-60+. The age sections are large nippers (6-12), junior (12-16), senior (16-40), and masters (40+). They train for Lifeguarding awards, as well as entering competitions throughout the year. It is a great way to give back to the local community, as well as raising money for charity.

Christchurch Runners are an Athletics-affiliated running club that aims to let people have fun and get fit. They do a range of social runs, races, training events, and charity runs.

Hengist Group of Artists is a mixed-ability art club in Christchurch that meet at 7pm on the third Monday of each month. At these meetings, they meet, share experiences, and exhibit their paintings. Often there are artist demonstrations.

Christchurch History Society organises 10 evening meetings a year, normally on local history. The society has access to an archive with over 20,000 documents, photos, and maps. The society also organises numerous visits and guided walks, as well as attending community events. It is an excellent opportunity to meet others who share a passion for history, and learn more about the beautiful Christchurch area.

Highcliffe Community Association is a social club dedicated to meeting new people in regular meetings and outings. This includes anything from singing, dancing, playing cards, petanque, table tennis, art and crafts and much more. There are 45 clubs members can join.

Offering a relaxing range of entertainment and activities, Highcliffe Sports and Social Club is open every day, and is a great way to meet new people.

Christchurch Rotary Club plays a pivotal role in giving back to the community, through raising money for causes, and providing opportunities. The club meets weekly at various venues.

Christchurch's Royal British Legion Club is a focal point for social activity, as well as encouraging support for the armed forces and Remembrance. They meet from 7.30pm on the second Wednesday of each month. The RBL's local, regional, and national events can also be attended by members.

Christchurch Men's Shed is a branch of the National Men's Shed Association, dedicated to making and fixing things, as well as meeting new, interesting people. The technical projects take place in the workshop, but there are also monthly social events and occasional trips to places of interest.

Priory Beaders is an excellent social group for meeting others interesting in beadweaving. They meet once a month at Stanpit Village Hall in Christchurch. Teaching is not provided at this group. They meet the second Saturday of each month save for August and December.

Christchurch Bridge Club are a friendly EBU-affiliated club that plays both online and in-person bridge. There are national pairs championships that members can participate in, and online sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. In-person meetings take place every Friday in Westbourne, Bournemouth.

Christchurch Life Drawing Group are a monthly offer monthly untutored life drawing sessions on the second Wednesday of the month. They welcome artists and newcomers of all abilities.

Highcliffe Art Fellowship is a creative club in the Christchurch area that promotes artistic expression. They meet on the first Wednesday of every month, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm, and are a lovely way to both interact with the local community, and foster a passion for art.

Highcliffe Castle Golf Club has been a staple in the community since 1913, with plenty of social and sporting events for its many members. Whether it's in the clubhouse or on the 18-hole golf course, the club is an excellent way to meet new people and engage in a mutual passion for golf.

Since 1978, Highcliffe Hawks Youth Football Club has been providing local children with the opportunity to play football. With regular training, coaching, tournaments and Bournemouth Youth Football League matches, it is a great way of encouraging children to engage with the sport.

Christchurch Twinning Association is a social club that has been promoting community links between the linked towns of Christchurch (New Zealand), Aalen (Germany), Saint Lo (France) and Tatabanya (Hungary) since 1982. All income is raised through a small membership fee, coffee mornings and regular social events.

Christchurch Golf Club is an excellent way to meet new people and engage in a mutual passion for golf. The club caters to different players and offers a range of competitions for members.

Now in its fifth year, Christchurch Belles WI is a wonderful way to learn new skills and meet new people - with activities ranging from book clubs, to skittles, to volunteering. Monthly meetings are held on the third Monday at 7.30pm.

Formed in 1975, Highcliffe Bowling Club is a sporting club that has continued to provide both social and sporting opportunities to the local community. With coaches for either beginners or experts, the club is an excellent way to enter competitions, meet new people, and pursue bowling.

Christchurch Society of Woodturners meet at 7.30pm on the third Thursday of each month. There will either be an introduction to a turning project and a demonstration, or a competition when members bring in their own work on the previous month's project, taking place on alternate months.
