Christchurch Arts Guild

Christchurch Arts Guild is a club for Christchurch artists, who meet every second Wednesday of the month from 7pm to 9pm. Parking is available on site. Various activities take place in these meetings, including critiques, artist demonstration ad workshops.

Christchurch Bridge Club

Christchurch Bridge Club are a friendly EBU-affiliated club that plays both online and in-person bridge. There are national pairs championships that members can participate in, and online sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. In-person sessions take place every Friday.

Christchurch History Society

Christchurch History Society organises 10 evening meetings a year, normally on local history. The society has access to an archive with over 20,000 documents, photos, and maps. The society also organises numerous visits and guided walks, as well as attending community events. It is an excellent opportunity to meet others who share a passion for history, and learn more about the beautiful Christchurch area.

Christchurch Lace Society meets monthly to share their love of lacemaking and demonstrating their craft. Whilst they are not a teaching group, visitors are welcome. The Society also attends The Priory's Living Crafts Exhibition every second year.

Christchurch Society of Woodturners meet at 7.30pm on the third Thursday of each month. There will either be an introduction to a turning project and a demonstration, or a competition when members bring in their own work on the previous month's project, taking place on alternate months.
