Save the Date: Christchurch Cheese & Chilli Festival Returns in May 2027

Cheese lovers and chilli fans have a date for next year’s diary: Christchurch Cheese & Chilli Festival returns on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 May 2027.

Taking place at Hurn Bridge Show Field on Parley Lane, the two-day festival will bring together artisan producers, street food, live music and family entertainment for a weekend of tasting, shopping and enjoying the outdoors.

There will be plenty to browse, from traditional and unusual cheeses to chilli sauces, chutneys, jams and marinades. Independent food and drink producers will be joined by craft and gift traders, with festival bars serving beers, ciders and other refreshments.

The organiser’s 2027 announcement also confirms live cooking demonstrations, offering ideas for using cheese and chilli at home. For those who prefer to watch the heat build, the chilli-eating competition is returning too, with contestants working their way through increasingly fiery chillies.

Live music and entertainment are planned across both days, alongside free children’s activities, games and performances. Whether you’re going for the food stalls, the music or a day out with the family, there should be plenty to keep everyone occupied.

For now, it’s one to put in the diary as Christchurch’s spring events calendar begins to take shape.

Dates: Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 May 2027
Venue: Hurn Bridge Show Field, Parley Lane, Christchurch, BH23 6AD
